Alice Priestnal of Leicester

Will of Alice Priestnal of Leicester – Died 19th November 1890 at Leicester

Administration

Proved at Leicester on the first day of December 1890 by the oath of John Priestnal the sole executor to whom administration was granted. The testatrix Alice Priestnal was late of Leicester in the County of Leicester, Widow, and died on the nineteenth day of November 1890 at Leicester aforesaid.

Will

I Alice Priestnal of Leicester in the County of Leicester, Widow, hereby revoke all wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will. I appoint John Priestnal of St. Saviours Hill, Leicester aforesaid, Gentleman, to be sole executor of this my Will and bequeath to him the legacy of ten pounds. I bequeath the following legacies (namely) to Alice Goodwin of Loughborough the sum of twenty pounds, to Emma Starbuck of the City of Liverpool twenty pounds and to Mary Lemon of Leicester aforesaid the sum of ten pounds. I give, devise and bequeath all the residue of my estate both real and personal (subject nevertheless to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses) unto my niece Rachel Goodwin of Loughborough absolutely. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this fifth day of November one thousand eight hundred and ninety.

Signed by the said Alice Priestnal the testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as witnesses.
